The Boulder County Clerk will start mailing ballots to voters on October 10.

In the meantime, check to make sure your voter registration address and affiliation is current, by going to govotecolorado.gov (click "Find My Registration")

In order to receive a ballot by mail, your registration needs to be received, and your address current, at least 8 days before the election.

If you haven't already, sign up for Ballot Trax, here.

Be sure to vote your entire ballot!
Leaving even one part of your ballot blank allows others to choose for you
so we hope you find this voter guide helpful!

Ballot drop boxes will also be open October 10.

Colorado has same day registration, meaning, you can register to vote, and vote, up to and including Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, by 7pm.

In-person Vote Centers open on October 27.

(If voting in-person, you must be in line before 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4.)

The Boulder County Clerk recommends the last day to mail your ballot is Monday, October 27. After Oct 27, please use a 24-hour drop box, or walk your ballot into any Vote Center, during days and hours open. All ballots due to the Clerk by Tuesday, Nov. 4, by 7pm. Postmarks do not count.

All ballot drop box and Vote Center locations, and hours of operation are listed on the sheet that comes with your ballot (hang onto it and share it with others who have not yet voted), or go to bouldercountyvotes.org for all ballot information.

ONE BALLOT PER ENVELOPE. SIGN THE ENVELOPE!

Your signature must match a signature in your voter registration record. (First time voters without an ID on file must return ID photocopy with ballot or ID in person at any Boulder County Vote Center.)

Postage: You will need one first class stamp if your ballot is one page long.
If your ballot has two pages, you will need two first class stamps.

All ballots due to the Clerk by Tuesday, Nov. 4, by 7pm. Postmarks do not count.

Not registered? No problem!
You’ll need to be 18 on or before Nov. 4.
You’ll need ID. There are deadlines for online registration and for current address change in order to be mailed a ballot.

But you can walk in, register, and VOTE up to and on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 by 7pm!
