BCDP Recommends YES on Ballot Question 2B*:

Rationale — The Board of Trustees did not lightly initiate this ballot measure. This ballot measure came about following extensive research and public outreach concerning the advantages of home rule. Home rule allows for local governance on local issues and more control of finance and taxation, land use, and elections. Colorado has about 100 cities and towns that are home rule municipalities. The home rule charter determines the form of municipal government.
