Boulder County voters who participated in the June 30, 2026 Primary determined the Democratic nominees that are on your November 3, 2026 Midterm Ballot.
"You know what 'trumps' EVERYTHING? The "threats", the dark money, the despair?: TURNOUT. VOTE EARLY, & if you can, WALK YOUR BALLOT to a 24-hour drop box (open on October 2) or to the nearest Vote Center (open on October 19).
VOTE YOUR WHOLE BALLOT! Dark money served up plenty of bad measures, SO REJECT 81, 132, 134, 135 .
But there ARE good measures, too!: SUPPORT Colorado Education: YES on NN.
Let’s finally bring Passenger RAIL to the Front Range: YES on 7A. Longmont decides Ranked Choice Voting. And let's give tax breaks to Coloradans who need it: YES on 87.
Nonpartisan races are on your 2026 ballot, including RTD District O (2 Democrats running, pick one), City of Boulder Council races (including Mayor), and the towns of Erie & Superior. We'll continue our tradition of listing all Democratic candidates on the 2026 Boulder County Ballot, in this voter guide.
Statewide, county and local ballot measures: The BCDP Executive Committee tries to be comprehensive in its research and recommendations on all ballot items on the Boulder County ballot. A Ballot Measures Committee was formed weeks before the Executive Committee convened on September 14, to vote on ballot recommendations, and in time for the print version of the Voter Guide's press date (our two-part voting process explained, here). The sample ballot was posted on September 24, at which time additional ballot measures came to the attention of the Ballot Measures Committee. Colorado elections are mail-in ballot, and the Boulder County Clerk will start mailing ballots to voters on October 2. In the meantime, if you haven't already, sign up for Ballot Track, here — a free service for Boulder County voters that can send you notifications by text message, phone call, or email when your mail ballot has been sent and received by the Boulder County Elections Division.

Not registered? No problem! You’ll need to be 18 on or before Nov. 3. You’ll need ID. There are deadlines for online registration and for current address change in order to be mailed a ballot.
