Public Input for Committee Members  

The Colorado Democratic Party (CDP) is hosting an email address where members of the public can write to provide their input to vacancy committee members and known candidates. 

Members of the public can send email to: HD12VacancyPublicComments@coloradodems.org 

The content of those emails will be made available to the members of the Vacancy in Office Committee and the known candidates running for the HD12 seat.

Qualifications to be a Candidate for HD12 State Representative / Requisitos para ser Candidato para Representante Estatal HD12:

In order to run for this office, you must meet the following qualifications:

1. Be at least 25 years of age on or before the date of the HD12 Vacancy Committee meeting per Colorado Constitution V(4) (Must have a DOB of 1/28/1998 or later) 
2. Be a citizen of the United States per Colorado Constitution V(4) 
3. Be a resident of HD12 for at least twelve months preceding the date of the HD12 Vacancy Committee meeting per Colorado Constitution V(4) (Must be a resident since at least 1/28/2022) 
4. Be registered as a Democrat for at least twelve months preceding the date of the HD12 Vacancy Committee meeting per CDP Rules 4.9 (Affiliated with the Democratic Party since at least 1/28/2022)

Para postularse para este cargo, debe cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:

1. Tener al menos 25 años de edad en o antes de la fecha de la reunión del Comité de vacantes HD12 según la Constitución de Colorado V (4) (Debe tener una fecha de nacimiento del 28/1/1998 o posterior)
